A ring-bound sketchbook series from Penco. The drawing paper used is "HS Gao," which is also suitable for watercolours and crayons. The medium paper (121g/m2) is the same thickness as regular drawing paper and can be easily used for drawing with coloured pencils or crayons, or rough sketches with pencil.
The front and back covers are letterpress printed, with slight ink bleeding and misalignment giving them a tasteful texture.
With plenty of pages, you can use it freely to sketch while travelling or jot down ideas.
This off-white drawing paper has a soft feel and a rough texture with a moderately textured surface. It absorbs well and dries quickly, making it suitable for watercolour painting. The texture is not too deep and the surface is strong, so it is less likely to fray even when using an eraser.
Made in Japan.
