It's been sweeping through my circle of friends like an easily transmitted disease. Roisin was heavily afflicted when I first met her and symptoms were apparent and obvious. It's raining. And a bit cooler than it has been. I'm going to say something controversial (we're British, we're supposed to moan about the weather constantly) - it's actually quite nice.

This is all Amy's fault by the way, she made a dress with rain drops on it.

OK, since I wrote the above, it got sunny again, but now it's tipping it down and there is a small river running down...

We had so much fun this weekend! We had a lovely group of Hens in the studio, they were creating Embroidery Hoop Art under Zoë & Amy's expert tutelage. Zoë & I love kitsch ceramic animals with big doe eyes. We have an excellent selection in the shop at the moment. Amy is enduring them rather well.

Zoë crocheted Amy a very pretty scarf for Christmas. As she couldn't find a suitable pattern, she wrote her own! Zoë has offered to share it with us, in case any of you fancy making one for yourself. Can't crochet? Don't worry, we've got that covered too...

We've completely changed our logo to something we think suits us far better.

As you might be aware by now, I am a sucker for all things kitsch. If it has doe eyes, thick eyelashes and some sort of bow round it's neck, I'm usually all over it. Amy is less of a fan (remember the Horse Head Book Ends?), but I think she's finally coming round. Ever since we met Zoë, who is also a bit of a kitsch-lover, Amy has started to see the light. This week's Friday find is a bit late, sorry! Yesterday, we celebrated Zoë's birthday. We had a lovely time showering her with gifts, drinking champagne and eating delicious food from Kayal (our second visit in as many weeks!). Zoë got me drunk, but really I think it was Amy's fault for not turning up early enough to help with the champagne.

On Wednesday night, Fiona taught a fabulous workshop on Styling your Crafts. Zoë attended along with 5 other lovely crafty & creative people, wanting to learn more about photographing their products to sell online. Everyone had such lovely goodies to photograph! Liz, our friendly neighbourhood vintage ice cream van driver, also came along to learn a bit about photographing...

Amy's been trashing the shop! Well, it all started on Wednesday, when Mum came over and helped us wield a large power tool, resulting in our new greetings card display. Zoë and I stood back and offered constructive feedback and support.
