We take all of our own photos (with a occasional and much appreciated assistance from our friendly neighborhood photographer), and take pride in selling things that are a bit different to what you would normally find on there. For this week's Washi Wednesday, we turned paperclips in to book marks.

We have some new things! I spent all day photographing them with Fiona (well, feeding Fiona biscuits and handing her my camera), so didn't get chance to play with washi today. But instead, we have pretty pictures of our new ceramics! Woo!

We had an exciting parcel arrive this week, filled with stationery goodness. The gasps and squeals of excitement were off the scale. I think we may have upset a few passing dogs.

After 8 years of love and devotion, my cream soft top Beetle and I have parted ways. Moving on is always hard, I loved that car and it really felt like a limb. But sadly, now that I'm only part time at my grown-up job and I've chosen a more nourishing use of the rest of my time, a new Beetle wasn't really an option.

But that's OK. That decision led me to Minty:

We sell snazzy pom-pom makers in the shop, that make it quick and easy to churn out a few in no time at all! Those of you who came along to #craftpartyleam might have played with them in the craft lounge. We love pom-poms! They have -almost- as many applications as washi tape! We even have a Pinterest board on this very subject for you to look at.

I saw this cool party hat on Pinterest the other day, which Zoë and I thought would make an appropriate Washi Wednesday! Zoë took a toilet roll tube, covered it in washi stripes, punched holes in the side for an elastic and cut points around the top. Then I made her wear it and smile for the camera!

I was on the door with Paul & Barney, dishing out goodie bags and tickets. I wanted to stop and chat to everyone, but that just held up the queue, so my apologies if I was a little abrupt with any of you! Eventually, the queue died down and I was able to wonder around and see what everyone was up to...

They were sewing and printing bags-
Mixing scrubs and decorating plant pots-
Decoupaging tiles...

That's Post Craft Party Depression. I can't deny it, we worked really really hard. Now it's over, we're all feeling a little lost. I imagine this is how people feel after organising a big wedding or something? I have a recurring dream that I got the date wrong and wake up with a start. But it's OK, I can just sleep as much as I want for a while.

Due to popular demand, Washi Wednesday is back! Well, ok, that's not technically true, but Zoë and I have come up with some new ideas, and we're going to inflict them upon you. On Wednesdays. Here is our first one:

So we had our party last night! It was so much fun. Exhausting, but fun! I don't have photos from the luminous Fiona Murray yet, I'll post some on here as soon as she has finished her skillful editing process. I was gutted to see yet another grim, grey sky this morning. We were due to do some after-hours work on the craft party this evening, and I was hoping to get some photos of our samples. The sun was clearly on our side though, as it graced us with its presence just in time...

I've not been inspired to take any photos this week. The weather was horrible yesterday and everything looked grey because of it. Sorry.

We love these! You charge them up in the sun then switch them on at night and let them glow. You might remember them from Washi Wednesday a while back, we decorated one with washi tape. We now have white houses in stock as well as kraft, so you can easily colour them in before you build them. Did I mention that they come flat packed, so you can pop them in the post?
