This week, Zoë has edged the pages of a small notebook with Washi Tape. This is great for sectioning your notebook according to subject. Or just to make it look pretty.


Zoë did this at home; I'm particularly impressed at how many different patterns of Washi Tape she has managed to accumulate!

This week, I found a Thumper to go with my Flower! Now all I need is a Bambi.

This week we have a handy tip for you! Mark your seam allowance on your sewing machine with washi tape so you can see it easily.

Zoë & I love kitsch ceramic animals with big doe eyes. We have an excellent selection in the shop at the moment. Amy is enduring them rather well.

We have some amazing new solar night lights in stock! They come flat packed (for easy posting), so you build them yourself. They are made from plain kraft card, so you can decorate them yourself with felt tips, glitter, glue etc.... Or in our case, Washi tape!

For those of you who might have forgotten, it's Valentines day on Friday. Which means that Hallmark, Chaucer and retailers like us insist that you are duty bound to, at the very least, send your significant other a card.

I get asked where our name comes from a lot. It's a bit random, as these things often are. We were due to open the shop, we didn't have a name, just this:

I've been complaining recently that I don't have any vases. This week I managed to score three!


And they look great next to my birthday Donkey from Pauly.

This week, I made a pair of paper lanterns from some thin card and rolls of Washi.

  
I would recommend using led lights inside or be careful never to leave these unattended! I don't have any small glass tealight holders, but slipping these over the top of one would work a treat. I might dot these about my garden this summer, assuming it ever arrives...

Zoë crocheted Amy a very pretty scarf for Christmas. As she couldn't find a suitable pattern, she wrote her own! Zoë has offered to share it with us, in case any of you fancy making one for yourself. Can't crochet? Don't worry, we've got that covered too...

We have new templates in stock! There is a square box, heart shaped box (just in time for valentines day  and perfect for wedding favours!) and an amazing paper bag template. Amy has made a bag from our wrapping/crafting paper below, but you can just as easily use sheet music, maps, magazines etc. We'll get these added to the website in the next couple of days.
